We started our day as early as at 7.30am and set off to Chang Puak Camp for the elephant ride. For this, we had booked a private tour for the 5 of us, since the place we were going was out of Bangkok and we wanted to save time of getting a taxi to & fro. Our tour guide was kinda late coz she went to and waited at the wrong address, another Supalai apartment on another lane. A lil miscommunication but all went well alhamdulillah.
the journey to chang puak camp took us almost one and a half hrs
queueing for the elephant ride
them, kids with the white tiger
After we were done with the elephant ride, we headed over to the section where they were having some monkey shows. Monkeys showcasing their talents singing, playing guitar, playing with fire and such. Ok ok la for a quick entertainment.
We left Chang Puak Camp for a motorised boat ride along the river at Damneon Saduak. It was a fun ride, especially when each time we encountered other boats passing by ours, we would greet them with 'Sawadee Kha', which definitely caught them by surprise. Some were kind enough to wave back and smile, while some preferred to ignore us. Well..
one with our tour guide
the not so bustling floating market at damneon saduak coz it was almost noon when we reached there
We chose to eat at Platinum Mall as we couldn't find any halal food available at Damneon Saduak. It was another more than an hour's journey to the city. But it felt longer. Maybe because we were caught in a traffic jam. Not that massive though. We were super hungry when we reached Platinum Mall but decided to get our zuhr prayer done before lunching. Alhamdulillah, the musollah at Platinum Mall, though small, it was pretty and neat. There were separate rooms for Muslimin and Muslimah, with prayer mats and telekungs for Muslimah provided too alhamdulillah!
Lunch was nasi briyani from one of the 2 halal stalls available at the mall. We did abit of shopping there and then for the experience and thrill, we squeezed ourselves in a tuk tuk back to our apartment hehehe And with that, we called it a day!
