57, Alhamdulillah

Hari ini dan hari-hari seterusnya, aku mohon segala doa yang terbaik buat kedua Mak dan Bapak. Semoga berkekalan hingga ke syurga dan dikumpulkan kami bersama-sama disyurga kelak, insyaAllah ameen :') ❤️

Wind of Change

No mater what he aspires to be, may he be someone with taqwa, and may his presence in a whole new environment be a platform for da'wah be it thru' hs speech or actions, insyaAllah :')

GCE O Level Results

Alhamdulillah thumma alhamdulillah. The release of the GCE O Level results yesterday was such a great relief. 

Abang's results did not meet his expectation but all is well alhamdulillah. With an aggregate of 14 points, he's able to apply for couple of courses in the polytechnic, Mechanical Engineering at SP being his first choice. Yes, he wishes to switch from ukhrawi path to secular. Mama shall pray that wherever you go, whatever you do in life, you will stay on the right path and stay true to your deen ameen. 

Tinge of sadness within me :'( He'll do fine, insyaAllah :)

Anyway, candidates seeking admission to JC, Mi, Polytechnics and ITE, are required to apply thru the JAE - Joint Admission Exercise via online. Abang had made his 12 choices of courses in SP & NP this morning and had submitted his application. 

Hoping that everything will turn out well for him and that he'll get the course he wants insyaAllah. 

Undangan Majlis Taklimat YTS 2014

Semalam received notification via Adek's email, undangan ke majlis taklimat program YTS - Young Tahfiz Scholar ( Cendekiawan Tahfiz Muda) @ Masjid Kampong Siglap bagi para waris da para pelajar.

MasyaAllah! Diam tak diam, dah setahun Adek ikuti program ni dan dalam setahun, Adek sudah menghafal 10 juzuk, alhamdulillah. Apa yang menarik dalam surat undangan tu, is the new concept yang akan diperkenalkan ie, tasmi' 2 kali seminggu di MKS dan tasmi' 1 kali via online dari rumah using skype/ google hangout. Alhamdulillah, pihak Darul Qur'an sangat prihatin about the kids' welfare; waktu persekolahan, tenaga para pelajar dan tugasan sekolah, menyebabkan this concept being introduced. Ada baiknya jugak la kan coz lau tak, kesian Adek, 3 times per week after school gi MKS, sampai rumah gitu gini buat homework dekat kol 12 malam baru sleep, pastu besoknya nak school lagik. Besides this, ada lagik a few more things yang bakal dibincangkan on Saturday, 11th January 2014, insyaAllah.

Mudah2an Allah memberkati usaha Adek, permudahkan segala urusannya dan menjadikan impian Adek satu kenyataan, ameen :')

S.E.A Aquarium

Kakak has always wanted to go to the S.E.A Aquarium so much. Both hubby & I ignored her request. Thanks to our trip to Cameron, she didn't quite feel disappointed. 

But little did she know that Mama had bought tix for the 5 of us way in advance. Hence this visit to the S.E.A Aquarium was Mama's little surprise for her.

It was a day after Christmas and expectedly, the crowd was overwhelming over at Vivo City while queuing for the Sentosa Express. 

However, it was a breeze at the entrance to the S.E.A Aquarium alhamdulillah! Probably because we were early. 

As we went down the escalator passing by some exhibitions, I was proven wrong! Thought we were early, there were already hundreds of people in the aquarium hahah

It was truly a mesmerizing moment for us throughout our visit. Subhanallah! Glad to  have come to view His greatness, His under the sea creations. I, for one was awed by what I saw.

We spent about 3 hours there before going for lunch at Seah Im food court.   Then it was solat time after lunch at Masjid Temenggong.

The kids wanted to go to the new Bedok Mall so we took bus no. 30 there from Masjid Temenggong. 

Damage done at Bedok Mall. They did some shopping and we left shortly for dinner at Spize, 6 bus stop away from Bedok Mall. 

It was really a long and tiring day but we enjoyed every bit of the time we spent with each other. Alhamdulillah :D
