2 Good News

Overseas internship isn't quite appealing to Abang only because it would be in China & Taiwan. He therefore opted for internship locally. Alhamdulillah Abang is among the few SP Mechanical Engineering students to be selected for internship with Sembcorp Marine, for a duration of 6 months. He thought only students from Marine Engineering stand better chances during the interview 2 weeks ago. May everything turn out well and smoothly for him insyaAllah.

Secondly, result for the YTS Imtihan was out earlier today. Kakak is selected for the YTS program by MKS, alhamdulillah. There will be a briefing on 20/2/2015 at MKS for the new YTS batch. It is so unfortunate that the briefing coincides with our planning to bring the Japanese girls out. Looks like they have to tag along to MKS, kesian la nanti kena dudok mendangok. Rasanya it's gonna be a masjid hopping day for them since we'll have zuhr and asr done at the masjid. Khair insyaAllah.

Alhamdulillah indeed for today. May Allah ease all of our affairs ameen.

A piece of Good news from Adek

As mama was too engrossed with kak inah's departure last night, adek just couldn't find the right time to share his happiness.

Adek was at mks for some yts event with his peers and asatizahs the whole afternoon & stayed at mks right up till isya' just so he could also be at the airport.

It was after we came back at almost 1.30am that he showed this piece of happy news to mama. Alhamdulillah, adek, having memorised 14 ajza' as at June 2014, is among the 5 best yts who had received this cert from mks, alhamdulillah. Mama is definitely happy & proud of you dek!!

Undangan Majlis Taklimat YTS 2014

Semalam received notification via Adek's email, undangan ke majlis taklimat program YTS - Young Tahfiz Scholar ( Cendekiawan Tahfiz Muda) @ Masjid Kampong Siglap bagi para waris da para pelajar.

MasyaAllah! Diam tak diam, dah setahun Adek ikuti program ni dan dalam setahun, Adek sudah menghafal 10 juzuk, alhamdulillah. Apa yang menarik dalam surat undangan tu, is the new concept yang akan diperkenalkan ie, tasmi' 2 kali seminggu di MKS dan tasmi' 1 kali via online dari rumah using skype/ google hangout. Alhamdulillah, pihak Darul Qur'an sangat prihatin about the kids' welfare; waktu persekolahan, tenaga para pelajar dan tugasan sekolah, menyebabkan this concept being introduced. Ada baiknya jugak la kan coz lau tak, kesian Adek, 3 times per week after school gi MKS, sampai rumah gitu gini buat homework dekat kol 12 malam baru sleep, pastu besoknya nak school lagik. Besides this, ada lagik a few more things yang bakal dibincangkan on Saturday, 11th January 2014, insyaAllah.

Mudah2an Allah memberkati usaha Adek, permudahkan segala urusannya dan menjadikan impian Adek satu kenyataan, ameen :')

YTS - Adek's progress

الله الله الحمدلله.

Adek came back from tahfiz at MKS awhile ago telling me that he now has to revise for his 1st test for having completed memorising 6 ajza' (juzu') of the Qur'an. MasyaAllah alhamdulillah,

I'm just too overwhelmed. Thank you Allah for this nikmah. :')

YTS ~ Young Tahfiz Scholar

Today marks the 1st day of YTS program (Program Cendekiawan Tahfiz Muda). Adek is set to sail on this journey. Mama is as anxious though he's been in Sijil Tahfiz program for a few years now, this time round it's totally different, totally intensive. Darul Qur'an has targeted a period of two and a half years for these 20 selected students to finish memorising the Qur'an.

As of today, Adek will make his way to Darul Qur'an @Masjid Kampung Siglap 3 times in a week, right after school till after Isya'. And probably will be home only after 10.30pm. Ya Allah, how tough can that be!! Balancing school work with YTS program. May Allah make it easy for him, insyaAllah. May he be given the strength; physically, emotionally & spiritually, insyaAllah ameen!! To all reading, please make du'a for him, jazakAllah!!

Young Tahfiz Scholar Program

The YTS (Young Tahfiz Scholar) program at Darul Qur'an ~ Masjid Kampung Siglap for Adek will resume on 11th September 2012. Bestest du'a from Mama, Ayah, Abang & Kakak for Adek. May Allah bless Adek and grant him patience to overcome any obstacles that he may face along his journey towards being a Hafiz, insyaAllah.

ya Allah, meskipun dosa2 kami menggunung tinggi, namun Kau masih tetap terus-terusan mengurniakan nikmat ke atas kami, hamba2Mu yang kurang mensyukuri :'( begitu besar kasih sayangMu kepada kami..syukurillah wal hamdulillah ya Allah diatas nikmat ini...berikanlah kesabaran dan ketenangan serta kekuatan rohani dan jasmani pada anak kami sepanjang program itu nanti..dan sesungguhnya kami mohon redhaMu ya Allah..

Adek's gonna have a very tight schedule from September'12 onwards and he's gonna have late nights, having to attend classes 3 days in a week right after school hours till after isya'. And it is expected to go on for at least two and a half years. MasyaAllah, how tiring can that be! All for Allah, and may He guide, insyaAllah.
